The Department of Accounting Studies at the Post-graduate Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies at the University of Baghdad discussed the research titled (Analysis of quality costs in the under  of the shift towards cleaner production to achieve sustainable development goals-Applied research) for the student Mohammed Kareem Hussein  to obtain Cost and Managerial Accounting   certificate, which is the highest professional certificate in the field of specialization, and its holder enjoys all the rights and privileges of a doctorate degree.

This study aimed to analyze quality costs according to cleaner production requirements in order to improve information quality, rationalize decisions, and ultimately achieve sustainable development goals at the Kufa Cement Plant, the case study. It also analyzed quality and cleaner production costs in line with the requirements of two technologies that have resulted in reduced overall costs, improved production quality, and a decrease in harmful pollutants in the environment, thereby achieving sustainable development goals in their economic, environmental, and social dimensions.

The study concluded that economic units, particularly the case study unit (the Kufa Cement Plant), analyze quality costs according to cleaner production requirements to achieve sustainable development goals.
